The client needed to optimize and simplify the process of creating, modifying, and approving purchase requests (PWR) across all areas of expertise for the cruise ship industry: Food & Beverage, Retail (supply for on-board shops), and Hotels.
The primary objective was to optimize and simplify the PWR management flow by developing a tool capable of automatically generating a purchase request proposal. The tool uses input data and parameters, integrating historical, current, and forecasted information, to optimize the quantity and value of each item based on the ship's current and future needs.
Furthermore, the system ensures clear management of authorization roles and responsibilities required for PWR approval.
