Sicuritalia offers comprehensive security services for businesses, individuals, and public entities, ranging from armed and unarmed surveillance (with security guards and trust services), alarm management, video surveillance, concierge services, fire prevention, airport, rail, and port security, to investigative and risk management consulting services, protecting assets, people, and property from theft, robbery, and other threats.
The project focused on the design and development of an integrated platform connected to the company’s ERP system based on SAP S/4HANA, with the objective of modernizing and automating the management of mobile-related equipment across the organization. The solution replaces a legacy process based on manual Excel file management, which suffered from data inconsistency and update issues, high manual effort with increased risk of errors.
SAP S/4HANA Integrated Equipment Management Platform
A custom application was developed using the SAPUI5 Fiori framework, fully integrated with the SAP S/4HANA ERP environment, to manage SIM cards and mobile devices throughout their entire lifecycle.

Operations can be performed both Individually (single equipment or user), or in bulk, through file-based mass operations. This ensures flexibility and efficiency for both operational and administrative use cases.
The new platform automates these workflows, significantly reducing manual intervention and improving data reliability.
A specific automation was introduced to handle early equipment assignments to internal users before the complete user master data is available.
This is achieved through a scheduled job that temporarily associates equipment using the user’s tax identification code, ensuring continuity of operations while maintaining data consistency once the full user record becomes available in the ERP system.
